SPECIAL MESSAGE


THE KINGDOM HERALD has been away for some time due to my relocation here in Lagos. I’ll be commencing a Master of Divinity program at the West African Theological Seminary this month and had to move close to the school. Settling down has been very hectic, more challenging than I envisaged, and things were compounded by the challenges I am facing connecting to the Internet at my new place.
But I am beginning to find a rhythm and get a handle on things. I’m sending this from the balcony of my ground floor apartment, where I’ve been able to catch a sufficiently strong signal. Of course working out here is awkward and inconvenient, but I’m making progress and things can only get better. The indications are that I might have to switch to another network service.
Pray with me. All things are working together for our good (Romans 8:28). THE KINGDOM HERALD will be fully back very soon by His grace. Of course our previous articles are always relevant and you can always read them using the links in the right hand column.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT, SOMETHING NEW (2)

To read the first part of the article, click here .) Since my early years, there had been the indication of this Christian writing ministry I have been called to. Not only were my writing and expository gifts noted and commended by my teachers, but the first explicit signal of where I was headed for might have been given during my second year in the university, when I wrote and posted copies of a Christian article on notice boards on campus. Then it got to where I formed the habit of writing messages on lecture room boards, especially at night, to welcome the students in the morning! LANGUAGE NATIONS – THE 6,000 PROVINCES OF THE KINGDOM

Last week , I proposed a twofold significance of the twenty-four Elders of the heavenly pattern of the Armies of Heaven , comprising Christ and His redeemed saints, that will establish and rule over the promised kingdom . First was their representation of the twenty-four-man “Supreme Governing Council,” under Christ, of the entire kingdom. And second was their representation of the twenty-four-man “Provincial Governing Council” of each of the constituting provinces, or nations, of the global kingdom. This latter perspective of the Elders raised the question of the full number of those represented in them, and by implication the full number of the nations that will constitute the kingdom.
