“To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna , and will give him a white stone , and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth save he that receiveth it” (Revelation 2:17). In my previous article I shared my insight into this glorious promise of the Lord to the victorious Christian. I revealed how the promised new name – known to none other than the bearer – is not a beckoning one, but one that depicts his capacity , the know-how that he acquires from partaking of the hidden manna , which is the   part that he will supply to the overall mission and dominion of the Armies of Heaven over the promised kingdom of the Lord . The white stone in which the name is contained is the token of that capacity and can be considered as the certificate of the believer’s graduation from the Academy of Heaven , where the capacity is acquired. In my previous article I explained how this promise of eating the “hidden manna” is an indication of the post-Rapture empowerment of the saints for their diverse responsibilities in the promised earthy kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is a unique rendition of their preparation for their millennial duties at the Academy of Heaven . But as we can see, the Lord’s promise did not end with the privileged access to the hidden manna . He adds: “And [I] will give him a white stone , and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth save he that receiveth it.”  This is indeed remarkable. In my article, The Academy of Heaven , I offered an allegorical explanation of how the saints are prepared for their diverse responsibilities in the coming earthly kingdom of their Lord. This was in the form of the post-Rapture consummation of the relationship between them (the Bride Church) and their Groom (the Lord Jesus Christ). There is, however, another scriptural indication of this preparatory experience that affords a deeper appreciation of the subject. It is another promise contained in the same Seven Letters of the Revelation in which Christ promised dominion over the nations to every believer that overcomes by Him. This other promise is one that has been given little consideration, possibly because of its apparent vagueness. I will be “letting down my hair” this week to share with you some light stuff, although not something altogether unrelated to our interest on this site. In fact, it is something that interestingly attests to the remarkable discovery we made in the recently concluded Horsepower series of articles. In the said articles, we unveiled the secret behind the envisioned awesome exploits of the redeemed saints in the promised earthly kingdom of their Lord and savior Jesus Christ. This was accomplished through a biblical interpretation of the horses that the symbolic Revelation portrays them as riding to take over the global kingdom and establish their millennial dominion. And what was the discovery? An all out angelic empowerment! As I noted in concluding that series, I had to be concise.
