WHEN SECRET SOCIETIES TESTIFY

In my previous article, Dream Jobs, I observed that the most lucrative and prestigious businesses and organisations of the millennial kingdom would belong to Christ the King. I envisioned these diverse establishments being conglomerated to form a super global organisation, the Zion Mission, whose activities would span every aspect of human endeavour, including religion. This domination of global affairs by Christ, together with His redeemed saints (the Zion missionaries), will be in fulfilment of Daniel’s vision: “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, were given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him” (Daniel 7:27). Moreover, the concentration of the “wealth of nations” in their hands would be in fulfilment of the divine decree: “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” (Psalm 2:8).

All this would almost certainly result in accusations of “Greedy Zionists” by the same kind of misguided throng that called the Lord “a glutton and a wine babbler” during His first mission to the world. Moreover, as a result of the fraternal activities of the Zion missionaries through their diverse “brotherhoods,” “fraternities” and “societies,” there would be insinuations of “Illuminati,” “Jesuits,”  “Masons,” “Knights Templar,” “Mafia,” and the like. And when I think of it, I realise that these things actually speak! I mean, there's a powerful testimony of the coming dominion of Christ and His saints to be heard from the activities of some secret societies of the present day.

Don’t get me wrong. We all know that many of these secret societies are diabolical and some of them are actually part of the attempts by the adversary to imitate “the promise.” But some are also the offshoots of the efforts of well-intentioned folks, true visionaries, running ahead of the “appointed time.”  At the end of the day, I see in them another opportunity that providence has afforded the discerning mind to preview incomparably glorious “things which must be hereafter.”

What I am speaking of here is an extension of what I call a “backside” reading of the Revelation. In other words, by reading what is expressly stated about either Christ or the Antichrist, a thing or two can be learnt about the other. Coming to think of it, the Sealed Book, the unsealing of which exposed the imitation of the Antichrist, has writings on its front and back sides! (Revelation 5:1.) Recall also that my vision of the Zion Mission was further confirmed by a “backside” reading of the Revelation’s portrayal of “Mystery Babylon.”

Speaking about secret societies testifying about the coming Zion missionaries, let’s take the Illuminati for an example. This is one society that has lived up to the billing of an enigma. Those who are familiar with the 18th century “Age of Enlightenment” that culminated in the French Revolution (a type of the coming “Zion Revolution”), might be able to put my thoughts in better perspective. Do you know that Illuminati means “enlightened ones”? As I have long established on this site (see The Next Wave and Kings and Priests), the Zion missionaries will be the ultimate enlightened ones! They will be the possessors and mediators of the true, pure and perfect knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God, with which they will do great exploits in the kingdom. And Christ their “Grandmaster” (that’s the alleged title of the top man of the Illuminati) will be the ultimate and long sought for “Philosopher-King”! Wow! The prophet wrote of Him and His coming reign, “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure” (Isaiah 33:6). If you are familiar with these things it can only start you thinking about the magnitude of what is ahead of the world.

Consider also the Mafia. Those who are conversant with this notoriously powerful organisation, as constituted by families, might have yet another perspective of what I am speaking of. They might particularly recollect that it was that same word, family, that was used for the constituting nations, or provinces, of the coming millennial kingdom in Zechariah 14:16,17. They might therefore discern a similarity of sorts between the so-called Mafia “Dons” and the “archbishops” that will oversee the affairs of the Zion Mission in the provinces of the kingdom. They might see a likeness between the high-ranking Mafia “caporegimes” and the “bishops” that will oversee the districts that constitute each province of the kingdom. They might also identify a parallelism between the rest of the “Zion missionaries” and the carefully handpicked Mafia “soldiers,” or “qualified men.” And who could be likened to the Mafia “Godfather” (the Don of dons) but Christ the King of kings! Yes, He will be the ultimate Godfather, for it is written: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting FATHER, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6). See it?

Allow me to take this line of thought a step further. Mario Puzo’s novel The Godfather has been described as the definitive work of its kind on the workings of the Mafia underworld.  When I took it upon myself to read the book, I was struck by how, in its own way, it prefigured certain core aspects of the millennial kingdom, especially the predicted annual convergence of the families of the earth to pay homage to Christ the King in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:9,16). One statement that particularly caught my eye about this was: “Next arrived the representative of the family in Boston” (he came with his fellow delegates). As I bear out in my coming book THE COMING GLORY, and hope to write about here sometime, it is a representative delegation from each of the families, or language nations of the kingdom, that will be required to go up annually to Jerusalem to pay homage to Christ the King.

Pardon my naiveté and allow me to take it yet a little farther. Mario Puzo’s convergence of the Mafia families on New York City (which I have likened to the New Jerusalem, the seat of the Zion Mission) was at the behest of the “Godfather” who, after a failed attempt to take him out of the scheme of things (much like that of Christ), staged a return to make the peace among the different families. As we just read, Christ the millennial Godfather would also be the Prince of Peace!

These are indeed curiously interesting shadows. Here in Mario Puzo’s book was a Godfather whose tentacles reached into every aspect of society, whose treasury was being steadily fed through diverse lucrative streams. Anyone who attempted to defy him was courting disaster. This is very true of Christ, for it is written: “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious” (Isa 60:12-13). Amen.

Friends, what we’ve been listening to in this article are truly interesting testimonies. I know that some of the things I have said might sound queer and make some uncomfortable. I am by no measure of the imagination trying to endorse any of these secret societies. But I hope that you are able to see how the adversary has a foreknowledge of, and has been trying to imitate and pervert some aspects of the Almighty’s agenda for the world. As I noted in The Zion Mission, the kingdom operation of the Zion missionaries – call them the “Knights of Mount Zion,” if you choose – will deliberately be for the ultimate good of humanity. And there will be no undue secretiveness to it, even as some of the so-called secret societies of the present time are not altogether secret. It will all be the Almighty’s own doing!

Yes, discernment is vital to a thorough appreciation of what I have attempted to convey in this article. As the Revelation would say, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count…” (Revelation 13:18). The apostle also wrote: “Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION in the knowledge of him: The EYES OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING BEING ENLIGHTENED; that ye may know what is the HOPE OF HIS CALLING, and what [are] the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints” (Ephesians 1:15-18).
