THE TALISMAN

Some would tag bestselling author Dan Brown as “controversial,” others as “blasphemous.” And that would be because of the “wild” idea he promoted in his novel The Da Vinci Code. I for one have wondered if some of the radical things he writes in his books are not actually with “tongue in cheek.” I was, however, fascinated by something he wrote in his latest creation, The Lost Symbol.
I quote: “For millennia, mankind had wandered in darkness...but now, as had been prophesied, there was change coming. After hurtling blindly through history, mankind had reached a crossroads. This moment had been predicted long ago, prophesied by the ancient texts, by the primeval calendars, and even by the stars themselves. The date was specific, its arrival imminent. It would be preceded by a brilliant explosion of knowledge...a flash of clarity to illuminate the darkness and give mankind a final chance to veer away from the abyss and take the path of wisdom... The breakthroughs [would open] floodgates or new thinking, starting a new renaissance... a catalyst that would inspire mankind to rediscover the knowledge he had lost, empowering him beyond imagination.” (Emphases added.)
Wow! I’m cautious about the “ancient texts” Brown alludes to. I’m wary of the “stars,” “calendars” and other prophetic indicators he flaunts. And I certainly don’t know where he gets his inspiration from, or what his motives are in writing. One thing I know, however, is that the above citation is a remarkable witness of what we have been talking about on this site – the coming global explosion of knowledge, wisdom and understanding  in the “Golden Age” of the Millennial Kingdom!
The prophet wrote concerning this “golden future time” of the promised kingdom: “For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea (Isaiah 11:9). As I noted in my article The Next Wave, it will be a time during which the world would experience an explosion of true, pure and perfect knowledge, in the broadest, deepest and most comprehensive sense of the word, like it has never done. It is called the knowledge of God, the fountain of all wisdom and understanding. And as I also bore out in Kings and Priests, the redeemed saints of the Lord Jesus Christ – and not Katherine Solomon and other “Noetic” scientists of Brown’s novel – will be the mediators, or mediums, of this outpouring from Heaven!
While I must have come across it somewhere previously, I actually became aware of the field of Noetic science through Dan Brown’s novel. I have since done further reading about the subject and can’t help but notice how its aspirations closely chime with my envisioned horsepowered exploits of the saints in the kingdom. Moreover, anyone who has read Napoleon Hill’s landmark book Think and Grow Rich might notice how closely the concepts of Noetic science resonate with its teachings. I actually have reason to believe that “Noetics” is all about scientifically investigating and authenticating the amazing ideas that Hill proposed in his book. Interestingly, I once posted something on this site – and that was before I read Dan Brown’s novel – to show how the ideas that Hill advocates in his book would find their ultimate realisation in the operation of the saints in the Millennial Kingdom.
Napoleon Hill evidently had impressive insight into some very deep truths, even if he did not get all the nitty-gritty right. Like Dan Brown, he unwittingly gave an impressive prophecy about the coming Millennial Kingdom of the Lord Jesus. He actually called what I am about to share with you a prophecy. I quote: “The time will come when schools and educational institutions will teach the ‘science of prayer’. Moreover, prayer may then be reduced to a science [my coming book  graphically explains how this will be achieved through the operations and scientific creations of the saints in the kingdom]. When that time comes...ignorance, superstition and false teaching will have disappeared, and we [the redeemed saints especially] will have attained our true statures as children of Infinite Intelligence [the mediators of the knowledge, wisdom and understanding of the omniscient God!].” (Emphases added.)
Many have tried to utilise the methods that Hill advocates in approaching his envisioned archetypal state of mankind, but the truth remains that the rate of success has left much to be desired, not to talk of the instances of severe backfires. This is not only because some of these ambitious folks have been undiscerning and selfish in their quest, but there is a missing element of the human quest, fallout of the misstep in Eden, that has placed a cap of sorts on what can be achieved in the present time. As I bore out in my article Horsepower, the bridge over this critical threshold that the aspirations of mankind has never been able to cross is CHRIST – the “Lost Symbol,” or “Lost Word,” of Dan Brown’s novel! As we know, Dan Brown ultimately identifies the Lost Symbol of his book as the Bible, or the Word – rather half-heartedly, I must say; as if to appease earlier offended powers. And as the Bible teaches, Christ is the manifest Word of God, which literally makes Him the Lost Symbol! “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:1-14).
That’s why I like to think of “Christ the Coming King” as the real Talisman that the world has been in search of – in the very fundamental sense of the word, which as Dan Brown correctly points out, connotes the completing or finishing factor of a thing. He is not just the one with the “Midas touch” to actualise the age-long utopian aspirations of mankind, but His physical presence is literally the missing element of the human experience that great thinkers and philosophers have recognised, even if they have not all personally identified it with Him. He is the irreplaceable Capstone needed to complete the human pyramid, without which mankind would remain and unfinished work and never realise its full potential.
As I bore out in The Next Wave and elaborate upon in my coming book, the implications of Christ’s divine presence during the Millennium will permeate every sphere of the human experience – global politics and government, the media and social development, commerce and industry, science and technology, and art and entertainment. These are the five major areas of human endeavour depicted in the Elders and four Beasts that the Revelation uses to portray, to the discerning eye, the order of His coming kingdom!
Yes, as the manifest Word of Infinite Intelligence that illuminates men (John 1:1-14), Christ is that “Lost Word” that great minds and ambitious souls of diverse vocations and persuasions have been in the quest of, not really knowing what they were searching for. He is the “Verbum Significatium” – an apparently Latinate coinage of Brown’s that means password – to ultimate realisation!
In closing, I will note that the Freemasons who are at the heart of Dan Brown’s story are nothing but a precursor – an imitation, if you like – of the “Royal Priesthood,”  the “Knights of Mount Zion,” that will mediate the promised explosion of knowledge and dominate every facet of the global society of the Golden Age of the Millennial Kingdom, offering the world and incomparable “New Deal”! All this are elaborated upon in my coming book.
So keep the faith, and remain posted. God bless you always.
In the King’s Service,
David Olagoke Isaac-Olawoyin.
